1. Scope

This Refund & Returns Policy applies to purchases made directly on blackericemanuelshorts.com. It does not cover purchases from third‑party marketplaces or resellers.

2. Return window

  • You have 30 calendar days from the delivery date to request a return.
  • Holiday orders placed Nov 15–Dec 31 receive an extended window until Jan 31 of the following year.

3. Eligibility requirements

  • Item must be in new condition: unworn, unwashed, unaltered.
  • All original tags, labels, liners, and packaging must be intact and included.
  • Return must include the packing slip or order confirmation number.

Items returned with signs of wear (fragrance, deodorant marks, stains, pet hair, or stretching) may be rejected or subject to a partial refund at our discretion.

4. Non‑returnable items

  • Final sale items (clearly marked as “Final Sale” at checkout)
  • Gift cards and store credits
  • Customized or special‑order items
  • Underwear/undergarments (if applicable) and items without hygiene liners

5. How to start a return

  1. Locate your order number in your confirmation email.
  2. Email [email protected] with the subject “Return Request – [Order #]”.
  3. Include: your name, shipping ZIP/postcode, the item(s) you’re returning, and the reason.
  4. We’ll reply within 1–2 business days with a prepaid return label (US orders) and instructions.

Please send returns only to the address we provide in the authorization email. Unapproved returns may be refused.

6. Exchanges

For the fastest service, place a new order for the desired size/color and return your original item for a refund. If inventory allows, we can also set up a direct exchange; items are reserved once your return is scanned by the carrier.

7. Refunds

  • Refunds are issued to the original payment method.
  • Once your return is delivered and inspected, please allow 2–4 business days for approval and refund initiation.
  • Your bank or card issuer may take an additional 3–5 business days to post the credit.
  • Shipping paid on the original order is non‑refundable unless we made an error or the item was defective.

8. Return shipping & fees

  • United States: prepaid return labels are provided at no cost within 30 days of delivery.
  • Outside the US: customers are responsible for return shipping; we recommend a tracked service.
  • No restocking fees for approved returns in original condition.

9. International orders

Duties and taxes paid at delivery are non‑refundable by us. You may be able to claim them back from your local customs authority depending on your country’s rules.

10. Damaged, defective, or incorrect items

If your item arrived damaged, defective, or you received the wrong item, contact us within 7 days of delivery. Please include clear photos of the issue and the packing slip so we can resolve it quickly with a replacement or refund.

11. Gifts

If you received the item as a gift and would like to return it, we can issue a store credit to you once the return is received and approved. Please provide the order number or the purchaser’s name and email to help us locate the order.

12. Bundles, promotions, and discounted items

  • Returns from bundles or multi‑buy offers may prorate the refund across the items kept and returned.
  • If a promotion required a minimum spend, returning items may reduce eligibility and adjust the refund accordingly.
  • Final sale items are not eligible unless defective.

13. Order changes & cancellations

We begin processing orders quickly. If you need to change or cancel, email [email protected] as soon as possible with your order number. If the order has already shipped, you can start a return once delivered.

14. Fair use

We monitor returns to ensure a great experience for all customers. Excessive returns, worn returns, or activity inconsistent with our policy may lead to limitations on future orders or returns.
